PPP can be briefly defined as "a long-term contract signed between a private party and a government entity for providing a public asset or service, in which the risks are shared between the parties”. PPP is widely utilized model in developing countries in order to ensure the high quality public services being implemented in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.

Integrated Health Campuses projects implemented by MoH, Turkiye within PPP model are the reference and model projects not only for Turkiye but also in the world in terms of technology level, complexity and high capacity (The world's largest medical campus project will be realized in this context). Considering both the planning/design and implementation/operation stages, PPP projects would directly affect the 30+ year period of the healthcare industry.
